    It might not be rear main now that I got a closer look at it... I think its the trans where it mates up to the back of the engine...

    Nope its rear main. Idk why but some of the oil I wiped off looked red and felt like ATF. But its engine oil. Have a call into toyota now waiting to hear back from their service advisors as to if I can drop the truck off now and get a loaner til they fix it. It should be under warranty

    Well that's some peace of mind at least. What's nice to see is that you're not letting it get as bad as you think it is. The average idiot will ignore a problem (assuming they even know they have one) until something big breaks. Then complain that cars aren't reliable :facepalm:

    Mine was leaking a couple ago and it was covered under warranty. I actually had 500 miles left until the warranty was up when I had it replaced.

    Sounds like toyota is going to be covering it under warranty... Do you know how much it would have costed you if it wasn't covered? My trukv is at 64k and I know I purchased an extended warranty but I wanna know how much Ill need to pull out to pay for it if that comes up.
