Dont buy from......

I got a cold air intake from AFE. The lid they sent me for the cold air box is the wrong one. So i go and call 4 Wheel Parts tell them my problem(i bought from them). So i called and they tried to contact AFE and no success. I sent 4 Wheel Parts an email saying whats wrong(they told me to do this) and included pictures of how it doesn't fit correctly. No response from 4 Wheel Parts as of after christmas when i emailed them. Then i went to the 4 Wheel Parts store myself and told them whats wrong and they said they could reach AFE at all... For some reason. They give me AFE number i have left 4 messages on their machine and no responce from them. So i would like to say both 4 Wheel Parts costomer service sucks in my oppinion and that AFE really sucks. i pay $400 for a cold air intake and they cant seem to send me the correct stuff for the box. So i dont think anybody personally should buy from them. If they cant help a costomer in nearly a months time what good are they?

 

4WheelParts should have replaced it for you.

 

Did you call when they are open??

EDIT: But in all fairness, 4wp should be the one replacing it, especially since that's who you ordered through.

 

yes i called and talked to a person from 4 Wheel Parts.

 

they didnt thats my problem i called their main office and i went to their bussiness that is just down the road from work

 

yea 4wheel parts has screwed up literally everythiung iv bought through them. bastards. the only good thing is that they will give you discounts after they f up. after they mesed up my brush guard and 5125s they gave me my sway-a-ways for 600 out the door

wow you guys are going to like this. after i posted this thread at 3:40 pm i got a call from the guy at AFE at 5:14 pm calling about what was wrong they got my "message" finally and 4 Wheel Parts message and they were giving me a call. all in all. they are sending me a whole new system for my truck!!!! WOOOOO

Thx for the heads up!! I went by the one on W.Colonial looking for Rims/CAI and stuff.. customer service was really poor and didnt' seem to want to help. Left and ended up buying a CAI on CL from a former Taco owner..

 

same one i went to the one by the fair grounds correct

 

Yup same one.. scary thing is i thought they had a good rep.. being the largest 4x4 place here in town.
