Not trying hijack this thread but it seemed to be the best place to post. I was curious if there is anywhere to trail ride or in general have a good time with the truck for the week that we'll be staying in the area south of Fort Walton Beach. And hopefully get to meet some local members. Thanks in advance.

Check out the Eglin reservation. It's a huge area that has a lot of wheeling. You will need a pass from eglin.isportsman.net and you have to check the Eglin PAM each day before you go. They close certain areas due to military operations.

If you want, head over the the Facebook page linked in post #1. It's more active, so you'll be more likely to find a few guys to go wheeling with.

Your best bet is to try and wheel on the 26th with someone, since our outings are usually on Sundays. Unfortunately I'm out of town so I won't be able to show you around.

Well its a Toyota so he probably wants a decent amount for it and people round here aren't big on Toyotas. They have enough money I'm sure that truck is just fine lol

Finally wired up my winch. Ive had it installed on my US Offroad winch mount for prolly 2 months. Just got around to wiring it this weekend. Ran a marine battery switch under the hood to kill power to it. Ill get pics in better light tomorrow.

    I have a few mods
Nice, I just have mine wired directly to the battery, I eventually need to redo the wiring the the engine bay and add an aux fuse box

On my first gen I had it wired straight to battery. Never had a problem. I just wanted a safety in case it decided to stick on some day, and not have to worry about a parasitic draw.
