Just walked out to the pool area to check out what all we needed to do to get it ready to open.

The kids had a chocolate syrup fight last night. Many empty bottles of Hershey's syrup laying around, syrup all over the freekin' pool deck, and ants by the zillions.

Morning all, think I found why I haven't been sleeping, looks like a low grade sinus infection has been sneaking up on me.

Morning Chuck, I saw that had erupted last night and wondered how close to Devore you were. Mild temps but still red flag weather.

Makes me wonder where the parents were. I would have had my kids neck if he started that crap.

The parents are sitting there watching their little angels destroy the place. The employees can't discipline them and the parents WON'T. The kids are defiant....they just dare us to say anything. In some cases, the parents are just as juvenile acting as their kids. Other cases, more so.... If poor people act like this, they're shamed....Rich act this way and it's "funny".

I'm not laughing though....

 

I would say more entitlement than wealth, I have some well off relatives and they would skin their kids if they did that, or make them clean it up.

Then Ken fire luckily is 25% contained and just at 20 plus acres thanks to higher humidity and cooler temps . This area is under Red Flag conditions with strong Santa Ana winds . The winds should pick up in the early afternoon

Going to be visiting friends this afternoon and will be traveling up the Cajon pass , hopefully it'll be open and the fire contained

 

im gonna take a nap. because i feel like it.

 

That's different......Just called on a guy who has a color match grill off a 2011 Tacoma, same color as mine, and listed on Craigslist for $40. It's 2-1/2 hour (each way) drive from here, but I have family in the area and was going to have one of them pick it up and I'd get it to me one way or another. The seller thinks that's crazy and didn't want to sell it to me. Says it's just too far away to make any sense to him. He hung up. Gonna have my nephew (who lives about 10 minutes away) give him a call and see what he has to say.....
