    Don't do it.

If you want assurance of your engine's condition, send an oil sample to Blackstone Labs for analysis. $25.

Greased my zerks (5 dcsb) the rearmost 3 were easy but man the front 2 gave me hell. Went and bought a needle attachment and that helps a ton!

Oh yeah. Did the first 5 wheel rotation with my Coopers, and my second oil change on this truck. And picked some bugs off the grill.

A little of this and a little of that.
Re-torqued all the nuts/bolts that are involved with the installation of an OME lift kit and LR UCA's. I drove about 100 miles since the install last Sunday.

A friend and I filled, loaded and hauled sandbags for our church doorways last week as Hermine was approaching. Heavy squall bands that AM. Working in the downpour. So, the inside of the bed was wet and sandy, the underside of the tonneau had had standing water, and of course there was water under the bed mat.

Through yesterday I had 13.25" here at the house so no time for drying till today.

Nice and sunny this afternoon. Opened the bed, let surfaces dry, cleaned out sand. Rolled the mat over 1/2 way, let that side dry, flipped it the other way for the rest. Re positioned the tonneau both times, so it's all dry, as well as my bike tie downs that remain in the bed.

    All ready to go again.

Washed and waxed, cleaned windows, and scrubbed tires.....so now it can rain again......

Moved box of Wheelers Superbumps from front porch to work bench. Progress in any form is still progress.

Re-packed recovery gear bag after cleaning everything. Ready to throw it in the mud again.

AND, gassed up for the 3rd time in 3 days. Lotta driving this weekend.

Used some thinner to take a bunch of yellow road paint off my truck. Sounded scary but was simple and after a good wash its perfect now!

 I can relate! We supplied over 11,000 sand bags and 10 Dump Truck loads of sand just on Wednesday!

Washed off the salt funk from the Tropical Storm that blasted the West Coast Of Florida and put a coat of wax on and hit the under carriage with Fluid Film. Patiently waiting for my leather seats to get here. Have a Good Labor Day Folks!
