We're ignoring the fact that the slanted-forward design and front rake on the Colorado make it look like shit! Although I haven't seen one leveled or lifted.

That is understandable for you....but they are not selling vehicles to 200,000 copies of you. They're selling to 200,000 people with 200,000 different wants, needs, likes, dislikes, etc.

They will cater to the vast majority - because that's what sells the most regardless of what you think is 'pointless'. If Manufacturer A is losing customers because they failed to add Gizmo X - and Manufacturer B is gaining popularity because of Gizmo X. Then.....Manufacturer A needs to get their shit together and put in a much better version of Gizmo X.

    Homemade statistics, homemade results.

Who has the number one resale value mid-size truck again?

I'll tell you who it isn't, General Motors.

More ring-dang'do's in the cab, the more broken dingly danglies you get.

Ok so gm has a motor with 40 more hp in a 4 banger... That 40hp is pointless when it's chilling on a rack in the garage because it's got countless issues under the hood (buddy's NEW Colorado is garbage...) ... I'm a huge duramax fan and Chevy sports car fan, but they have given themselves a very bad rep over the past years, and I've yet to see any improvement. Just saying. Toyota continues to hold their reliability reputation, along with holding their value better than most any car out there ... There may be issues with rust and vibes ... Blah blah blah ... But whose motors are going beyond 250k anymore without serious mainenance issues! I'll stand behind my taco any day. Lol

All you Toyota fan boys are living in the past check out JD power and you'll see that the new Chevrolet's are just as dependable as the Tacoma if not more so.

Doesn't new and dependability contradict themselves ... They make new motors every year it seems like ...

I got a Tacoma because I wanted a truck I could drive, not fix or watch burn up like a GM.

JD power is like a participation award.... they've given it out to Chrysler products.

And when did JD power get a time machine?

And no one has a tacoma in the shop? My taco has been the most problematic vehicle I have ever owned, it cost the most and also gets the worst mpg. I came over from gm after hearing all the best things about tacoma, it's no different then any other m as manufacturer. I just don't get all the nice features or mpg while still suffering failures. I haven't seen many of the 1st Gen colorados needing a frame replacement like many 2nd Gen tacos have had to encounter. That's a major failure yet everyone over looks that when they are quick to bash other trucks. I have an 88 s10 as well, my interior is all in tack, original leaf Springs and a frame without rust and I'm over 200k miles.

We're not talking about Chevy as a whole. We are talking about the mid-size market these twins came in to compete with.

The data isn't there. I doubt it will be. Their original twins didn't do so well.

Now full size trucks, I'll bend to you point. Tundra just doesn't cut the mustard. Ford owns the roost, Chevy isn't far behind.

Are y'all reading the 3rd Gen forum? The new Taco has lots of problems. I think Toyota makes good mid size trucks but so does eceryone else. Toyota is getting worse and the competition is getting better. Why do you think GM is selling all that they can make?

If you hate your tacomas so much, go get a gm then ... no one is stopping you. Just because gm sells more doesn't make them better ... Just they are more budget friendly, and people buy them because they are "American made" which is crap because a Toyota is more American made than a Chevy lol ... This thread is retarded anyways ... You either want a Toyota or another brand ... If you don't like your Tacoma maybe this isn't the forum for you

I'm sorry, you misunderstood. Your statement says you have semen in your turd, implying that you must eat semen. Also that you eat gerbils. I was referring to your turd pushing the semen and gerbil hair out of your ass, a douching cleanse of sorts.

The fan-boy is strong in this thread. There are a lot of solid options out there, Toyota and otherwise. Fact of the matter is Chevy is actively moving their mid-size truck forward while Toyota is basically coasting. Let this trend continue for a couple of years, with Ford also tossing their hat into the ring, and see what happens to the Tacoma's reputation. If Toyota doesn't come out with a true GEN3 in the next five years, to include some fairly significant advancements to the current vehicle, they'll be too far behind the curve to compete long-term.

I was only saying I liked some rims. Happened to be on a truck most T- DUBS hate. You told me about your turd. I described your turd, and now we are here. Can't we just all say Fudge GM?
