Just dropped him (Jeff) an email. We shall see what the availability is and his price. At this point I'd just like to get them on the truck for fall and winter wheeling, and I wouldn't have access to the school's MIG until November.

Jeff is a bit eccentric, but kool. I think nowadays, it his Kid (Cody) who is doing the welding.

 

I do, but I don't think it is up to the task of joining .120 wall to my frame very elegantly. It says it is good to 3/16 but for structural things like this I'm not comfortable using it on very thick material.

 

Yea you'd want something that'll do 1/4" for sure.

 

Hey camera gurus, been thinking if getting a camera, nothing to special just car photos some gun stuff and general stuffs. Saw a deal on Facebook for a used canon eos t3. Anyone know anything about the? Or what to ask and look for if I go check it out?

 

T3 or T3i? The Canon rebels are good cameras and most beginner lenses are generally pretty affordable. I'd make sure to bring something with a screen to examine pictures it takes so you can tell if it has a sticky shutter or some color problems, other than that its hard to go wrong. What's the price?
