going to get the windows tinted asap and put all my LEDs back. I checked yelp but anyone have any recommendation for a shop to tint my windows preferably in Honolulu? Interested in ceramic 5% all around plus front window strip.

4 till I finally learned my lesson. An all the times I was pulled over for tint was when I was dumb and young and the fine was per window it's since been changed but I remember the last one I got I was for 450 but now I think it tops out at 250 I'm not sure. But to me it's not worth giving the government any more of my money to throw away at some other go nowhere project. Not to mention having to have the tint taken off and redone every year for safety check that just gets too expensive for windows to be dark. I'm not celebrity or some one important lol. The last time I was driving on kapahulu in 2010 around 9:30pm and pulled into Safeway to pick a friend up and there was a cop sitting right there and caught me. *Edited I forgot one its 4 times I was pulled over

yikes, and all these tickets were just for illegal tint while driving the tacoma? I have seen tons of tacomas plus other cars with very dark defiantly illegal tint. Guess I have to pay to play, Ill have to think about the front windows being legal...

Nope the cars were in order
    2 in 2006 for a 2006 Mercedes S600
    1 in a 2007 F-250 in 2007
    1 in a 1979 F-100 in 2009

And only one time was it a bonus hit for a cop and that was when I got pulled over for no front plate on my Benz at 2am on Mokapu Dr. in Kailua. So after all those donations I try my best to follow the rules *except speed limits. I don't want to give the city and county any more of my money willingly.

But good luck, do what you want to do its your truck, I wish we were allowed to have darker tint in this state. But we could be worst like California's tint laws.

Technically, the two front windows are the only ones that you will be ticketed for, the rest of the cab can be as dark as you want. I don't know the fine off hand, but it will be for a max of two windows. Cars can get tagged for rear windows not being 35%, and that can add up, especially if the cop counts the fixed triangle window as a separate one. So you have the potential for two tickets on one door.

I just think that if you're getting pulled over for tint, that could just be the start. Could lead to recon tickets, dui, etc.

I've been noticing some mean 5 Lugers running around. Makes me want to get one for myself.
I thought I saw a prerunner with SUA conversion, but then realized it was a lifted 5 lug. Saw another lifted one, but with a x-runner rear brace, too. And to top them all, saw a x-runner with BFG KO2 all terrains. Looked like it was lowered too, had to do a double take.

I think mine looked okay but I don't have it no more... And I pieced it all out so it didn't even look the same when I sold it
