All pro wasn't listed in that article, but they're an option. Plus they're made in the U.S.

I really want the AllPro standard leaf pack but they are out of stock and it looks like about a 6-8week wait.

OME seem to be the next best.

But was wondering if anyone had any experience with the ToyTec Boss leaf spring packs?

My next set will be the all-pro standards. I think 6-8 weeks is worth the wait. Not unless your current vehicle has no leaf springs..

    Thank you, Rick!

Edit: Are extended brake lines required if the taco has the Bilstein 5160 with resi?

Will the Bilstein 5160's be long enough for the AllPro or OME spring leaf packs?

If the 5160's has the same extended length as the baja/pro bilstein shocks, then no.

    Thank you, Dana.

But for clarification, Did you mean "no" I will need extended brake lines?

Or "no" the Bilstein 5160's on the Baja/Pro are Not long enough for the aftermarket spring leaf packs?
Meaning, I need different rear shocks?

If the 5160's are the same extended length as the shocks on the baja/pros, you won't need longer Brake lines because those truck's don't need them.

I ran 5160's with stock Brake lines for a while.

Rick, what are your thoughts on the Wheeler's leaf packs? Same question for Dana @deeezy

The only way to really know is for someone that actually had those leaf packs to comment. I've only had AllPro's standard and expo leaf packs and they are both good. Iirc, the Allpro packs get you a little more travel than the Dakar packs because of their longer length. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the popular full leaf packs as they are probably, all, alot better than stock w/AAL.

I initially wanted to go with the wheelers leaf pack cause I thought it would give me added capacity while keeping the stock look. then I found out how much it would have cost and decided to go another route.

I have to concur with Dana. Don't have them, so like you...I can only go on what I read. Most of the guys have Dakars or All-Pros' here on Oahu. Obviously, you have to decide on what you plan to carry in the bed and the weight of all your truck add-ons so you can either go with a lighter or heavier spring solution. Most of us don't have bed racks or carry RTT's, so the standards are fine for a daily driver and you can still load'em up when you go camp or carry stuff. I have stocks currently with the ICON AAL and it's served me well. Leafs aren't sagging yet and I've had them on 2 years. Whatever you decide, the interwebz is your best research tool to get different opinions from folks who have and use them. Go from there and decide. Regardless of what you get...cost is gonna be a big factor...materials and shipping. The group buys allow you to get reduced shipping costs, but you might be limited to what the vendor carries and sells to get that savings.

Anyone know where to get Cooper ST Maxx here on Oahu? I know somewhere must be selling them since I see them on trucks every once in awhile.

I called a few places but no one has them. Seems like tire options are pretty limited here. I'm looking for an AT tire with an aggressive looking sidewall. 265/70/17

If I can't get them, I'll probably get KO2's from Costco or Terra Grappler G2's from Fore Wheel Farts.

I'm avoiding Duratrac's mostly because I don't like the way they look.

    Thanks.

    Thanks, Robert.

I did contact Jesse, and he said AllPro was out of stock. I forget when he said they would be back in their inventory. Or if there would be others ordering for a group buy or for another AllPro free shipping event.

From the feedback I'm getting, AllPro Standards are the way to go for my needs. I guess I'll have to wait for a group buy or free shipping opportunity.

I'm hoping I could get away with a single AAL, but my stock leaf pack looks flat and warped. Crossing fingers for an AllPro deal sometime within the next year.
