What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Yep. But these were what was offered through my contact. And I planned on a bunch of trails with these tires and the sidewall strength was worth it to me

 

E is tough, that's for sure. If I saw a lot of rocks, I'd consider E.

How well do they stay in place? I'm wanting something more than just the stock TRD floor mats, I'm considering the Weathertech laser cut, but I do like the idea of carpet and these look like they have good coverage.

 

Yes, 1.03 does seem to correct for the slow odometer reading pretty close. If it says 200 miles, (and I know that every 40 miles I am one mile slow. So it should be 5 slow at 200 miles (205 miles).

200 x 1.03=206. Well, that is Close... and maybe right?

I ran my test in the desert east on Yuma for 80 miles. Would be nice if California also had mile posts along freeways, and not the ones in code.

The 2010 Tacoma has:
New spark plugs,
New gear oil in the diffs and transfer case,
New tranny fluid in the automatic transmission
New air filters (engine and cabin)
Recent new brake pads
Recent new 5100 shocks, all around
Front and alignment performed.
Recent new front hub/ bearings (drivers side)
Tires (Hancook Dynapro ATM 265/75-16) at 34 psi are only used 15,000 miles, and look great.
So, the gasoline in California is the only thing left to blame???

 

This is one of the many reasons to get an Ultragauge. Calibrate it for distance and fuel fill up, and then you will have a display with accurate speed and mileage. No more math required

 

I didn't get any pictures of the beam pattern yet because I didn't try to aim them but I think I'll try to aim them tonight but I did snap one of them on at night

 

Have you put it to use yet? I don't foresee you being able to talk very far with an antenna that short. May be something to think about.

It's official. Getting a new frontbbumper from @Mobtown Offroad shortly to replace my damaged stock bumper. Can't wait!

We run with stockies all the time. Most of the trails around here are fairly laid back. Trails get tight and branches dont stop us. We wheel to our abilities and find bypasses to keep guys out of harms way.
