Any experience towing with the 3rd generation Tacoma?

Any experience towing with the 3rd generation Tacoma? I have a 2016 TRD Off Road 4X4. I am considering purchasing an enclosed trailer to haul my toys out to the desert. I normally use an RV that can tow a mid-size barn, but I also plan to use the Tacoma for some of the trips. The toys, a RZR, a quad, and 3 bikes weigh about 2,100 pounds. The trailer will weigh around 2,500 pounds and throw in another 200 pounds for gas and gear. Round up, I am at about 5,000 pounds in a big box. My concern is towing up the Cajon Pass (grade) on the 15. Any thoughts?

I towed 2000ish pounds Saturday. I wouldn't want to go much heavier and I'd want to have trailer brakes. A full size truck is a much better tow rig

Towing up the pass is a bitch. I towed my wakeboard boat up it and my truck hated it. Your trailer is about 500 lbs heavier with worse aerodynamics.
