I just saw in the buy/sell/trade forum somebody mentioned that the headrests on the TRD seats is bigger in the 09 and 10 trucks. They said they knew b/c the Wet Okole headrest covers from an 08 wouldn't fit on an 09 or 10. I'm assuming this means the DCs. Anybody know if this is in fact true, and if they are the same size as the reg cab now or what? I ask b/c I'm planning on putting headrest monitors in once my 2010 TRD Sport DC later this month and would like the larger headrests like in the reg cabs if they don't already come in the truck. Thanks!

The headrests were changed in '09 to comply with active head restraint requirements. I don't know if they are larger but they are angled forward.

We noticed that in my test drives, my fiancee asked if we could do something about it if we bought a 2010.

Are you sure the person wasn't confusing TRD vs non-TRD seats?

Stick on hood scoop from Autozone.
They are definitely different. Another member and myself were comparing my 08 TRD OR to his 10 TRD OR the other day.

Are the new ones any wider, or just taller/angled more forward?

I don't know if it was taller or wider, but it was definitely angled more forward.

The more forward thing sucks too. Wish they would adjust back some, long drives hurt my neck.

Depends if you have the TRD Sport seats or buckets. The TRD's are wider than the buckets. They are also a different shape. Thats for all years.
