what is the dealer fee just added profit or a extended warrantee not discussed and negotiated. just remember some of the extended warrantees are voided if you turn down recommended services such as flushes on trans, diffs, and transfer cases by a ASC tec

Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is covered under the 5 year 60,000 mile power train.

You talked about a 7yr/100000 mile warrantee, most extended warrantees have maintenance clauses in them that have service writers licking their chops, 5 /60 is manufacture. Sounds like the that $799 for that 7/100 is an extended warrantee. It was that way at a dealership I was at for a brief time. The manual lets you know what is covered

Seriously though, are there any extended warranties that don't want you to show you've followed proper maintenance schedules? It's not that hard to keep a notebook and copies of receipts when you buy oil and filters and do other maintenance work.

Most of the service writers are on commission and the good ones will recommend maintenance based on sight, others will do it on mileage, you want an honest writer and not one that will bend you over for $6.00 in commission. documentation is important.

We discussed the parameters of the 7/100,000 and service at the dealership was never mentioned. That was one of the first things I brought up. I also mentioned discounting the cost of the service fee and letting me buy my own warranty. This deal has taken an incredible amount of time for me so far so I trust their commitment.

Do you know if they'd go under MSRP for TRD OR? I'm looking at a 17 inferno DCSB TRD OR but Renton Toyota only wants to go 500 under MSRP.

Run from that as fast as you can. Keep looking there are dealers out there with better offers. You may have to travel out of state but it still be worth it

as long as you feel good about the deal great. I drove 70 miles to get my 2016 as the dealer in my city had 4 coming in all presold, with the next available 45 days out. The dealer I went to had 2 SR's on the lot 1 black no tunnel the other white with tunnel cover. Thay have a no haggle price program about 450 over invoice. great people to deal with all straight forward. I would buy from them in a heartbeat again. service ? 2hrs round trip and work time depends. I have a slight repore with my local dealer, Having called them out on work being done not authorized, went in for struts and got brakes and roters, with struts not done and new breakes and roters in trunk that I was going to do. I aso had to call Toyota when they were going to put in a 3rd transmission in a 98 corolla with ECM problems in 21000 miles for the lemon law. I also worked in their Chysler store. most of them good people just big, you become a # I'm in a 200000 metro , the dealer 70 miles away small town 1/4 the size of the store. in ND 200,000 is a metro considering we have around 600,000 in the state.

Wow that is $3500 off MSRP. A fantastic deal!! Would you tell us the dealer and state and how you got such a great deal? I would go for that.

What dealership did you go to? So far I've been quoted for only 500 under M
Yup, definitely shopping around. Toyota of bellevue is offering 1k under MSRP but no where near these deals people are saying they're getting of 3k under MSRP. Invoice is only about about 2k under MSRP. If I could get 1500 off and a good deal on my trade in I think that would be a good deal.

Are you willing to drive to Toyota of Corvallis?
I live in Everett and friends/cousins who lives in Vancouver, WA.
We just ordered 4 trucks from them for invoice price + $150 doc fee. Tax depends on your county. Or try Rodland Toyota. They agreed $500 over invoice, but when I came in to make a deposit, they said that deal is only for any truck available on their lot :)
    I can hook you up.
No, I don't work for any dealer :)

That's a little too far considering they most likely don't have it stock and would need to do 2 trips down there. I can check out the Everett dealership too. 500 over invoice is what I'll be shooting for now.

Central NJ here. Just put a deposit down on a 2017 DCORSB with a manual - tow package, floor mat/door sill package & wheel locks. MSRP was $34953, and I was able to get them down to $33,395. $36,955 after fees & taxes.

It seems like you guys are paying too much.

I have not bought one yet (I don't know if I will due to the buzzy vibration issue), but the quote I got last fall for 2016 DCSB O/R MT with Premium & Tech Package and Two Package was $33600. Before doc fee ($300), registration (<$200), sales tax (MA 6.25%). And at least two dealers were willing to give me this price.

How much more is 2017 MSRP vs. 2016?
