Gave her a bath and took off the black vinyl between the windows. Afterwards took her to QT for a frozen drink! Next mod is to tint the front windows to match back.

 

What did you use to remove adhesive residue?

 

Sunlight! My truck is about 3 months old and the heat from the sun was enough to cleanly lift it off. On the front I peeled the edge in the door jam all the way down then pulled slowly from top to bottom. Rear was just as easy, had to use my fingernail a little where it is tucked behind the window seal then slowly peeled down in one piece.

 

Installed my K&N intake couple weeks ago and just finished the install of the AVS taillight covers. Super easy install but not too impressed with the way they "stick on"

 

Mine came off in one piece but left a good bit of adhesive

 

They make them stick on so they are not hard to remove after the police pulls you over.

 

That's what I figured but I'm wondering if they are going to fly off when I'm going 80+

I would use Goo Gone or WD40, clean, then a little wax.

 

I removed the lower front fender valance which as the two chrome SR5 emblems and 4x4 and V6 emblems from the tail gate, and for now the Tacoma emblems are staying on until I get some custom graphics applied to the sides of the truck.

For something a little different I removed all of the VHB double sided tape from the back of the V6 emblem, and applied some new .020 thick grey

3M VHB double sided tape I have to the back side of the emblem and reattached it to the tail gate below the tail gate handle.

 

I hit 2000 yesterday! Same 5 month period.
