So looking at UCA's there seem to be a bunch of options in different price ranges. What are you running and why? I've found Fabtech, Icon, Camburg, Total Chaos, Light Racing, Tuff Country. I'm sure there are others.

I read somewhere here that the LR ball joints suck and are known for failing. I suppose that's not the case? This truck will never see more off road use than hunting or camping, nothing extreme but I want better handling, more stable on road feeling, and I want to get rid of my bump steer after my lift. My thoughts are the new arms will help with all that.

they are $60 for the pair. I'm not really worried about having to change them every so often

I loved Spc - Light Racing on Import cars, customer service is excellent , I planned on going with those myself. My 2nd choice is Camburg with Moog Ball joints , but none have the adjustability of the LR to get the truck in spec. I planned on getting a baseline alignment don't first then mimic the numbers after lift

I have the Tough Country ones. I've only had them on for 6 months or so, but I haven't had any issue. They are less expensive than most and allowed for a more correct stance/alignment with 3 1/2" of lift in the front. My truck was really squeaky before I put them on, but no squeak after. The only draw back I can think is that they are pretty plain looking compared to some more expensive versions.

How are the total chaos ones? They come with the kit I'm looking to get. Are they good to keep or swap for something else

I agree, everything will need repair. How often is the question.

I got my SPC's for less than 200, then I threw bushings and ball joints in them. Still under $300

Another vote for the SPC's. My offroad time is similar to yours as mainly hunting, camping etc. been very happy with the SPC's thus far. I believe the majority of the complaints with respect to the ball joints were the older model with no grease zerk. The new models are greasable. As was mentioned in a previous post if they do happen to go south, only $60 for a new one.

I've got probably 1000 miles on my SPC's of actual off highway miles. Mud, water, dirt, sand, gravel. No issues so far.

I do like the adjustability of the SPC arms. I like the build of the JBA arms also but there really aren't any reviews on them.

Since your in Maryland I would get the Camburg Ball Joints, I ran them on 2 tacomas, both flawless, uniballs are the way to go unless you live in a salty/snow state which you do. SPC/Light racings, had bad welds and BJ fittings for awhile, though I'm sure they fixed by now.

Ive installed all with the exception of the Tough Country and JBA. Cant really complain about any but I'd go with ICON, TC, Dirtking with uniball. ICON's are nice because they have a recessed 12pt bolt in the uniball which allows for more fender clearance, if needed. They give you a little more articulation then a bj, not huge a amount but some. The LR's are much less, but in the long run if you are considering all options I you may end up upgrading later. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions or need prices.
