Weekly Photography Challenge Thread (see first post rules and then the poll at top before entering)

Great pics guys. I'm not going to critique the pics as I'm far from any decent photographer. I like them all. So I'll say what I like about each one.



Beers' barn pic is awesome. The few times I've been to Colorado. I loved it. Just beautiful country out that way. So that took me back. Really like it.

113tac ,'s one is great too. I really like the view of the fountain and building. Really cool.

Don's pic really caught my eye. I love Chris Crafts. Love being on the water and boats. So I really like everything about this pic.

I love the Chris Craft also. Wish I still had mine. Just wasn't to be in the south.

 

The boat was located in a tough spot for photos. Not a lot of access. Then I screwed up the exposure. Couldn't fix this one.

Just got back from a wheeling trip

My professional photobomber

Nearly every photo she is sneaking around into

 

while out fishing i saw an immature bald eagle fishing.

Haven't had a chance to get out with my camera this busy week, but here's a phone shot of the pain in the butt fur ball I take care of.

 

Was hoping to get to the river and shoot some Eagles but it didn't happen. Nice BIF shot Tyler! As a backup was going to try and get some water entry shots of the Toller training with the bumpers but that takes 2 people and no luck this week. Had to settle for a yard shot, the 300mm as a portrait lens. Taking a break from playing Kong Frisbee. Which reminds me he needs a trim before hitting the prairie and the cockleburs in a few weeks.

 

That's some beautiful bokeh on the 300mm.

 

Haven't been keeping up with the challenges but took this one yesterday at the fish hatchery. Prehistoric alligator gar. This thing was probably 6 feet long.

 

No winner picked yet? Lol

I had a thought behind contest times

Maybe the time for hand in should be 12pm pst and winner by 6pm pst. New challenge posted by 12pm pst Monday.

 

Sorry I'm late. Way out in sticks. Got a weak wi-fi connection so here goes. Had to drop off my two dogs for boarding for four days so missing them a great deal. My 11 year old Chessapeake was not happy. What that means is that all the dog pictures really got to me.


Hard to type up my thoughts on all the photos using my iPhone 5 so I'll cut right to the winner.
