Installed my new to me coilovers, Thanks again @SCRunner12 . Picked up my UCAs from powder coat shop, waiting to install after I get my complete rebuild kit. Alignment scheduled today, so time will tell how soon I have to install them. I also need to adjust my rear shackles once more to get rid of the SoCal lean.

I have both a 4.0 and a 3.4 and wanted to "stock" just one filter. I found the extra length of the D3 on the 3.4 made it more of a pain to get a filter wrench in there due to the factory oil cooler lines. It wasn't worth the maybe 2 oz difference.

Good point, and thanks. I had to pull the fender liners to do my tubbing, and I was going to make the new ones removable on the frame side so that I can get in from the side. You think that would help, or again, not worth the extra capacity? This will be the first oil change for me, so I'm relying on my 1st gen brethren to drop some knowledge!

It's going to be your call, your knuckles. If you don't have the oil cooler it's a non issue and still, personal taste.
For me, being able to buy one filter size in bulk would out weigh the minimal difference in size but that was a no go.

I can unscrew my filter through the fender well, but I have a 4cyl and it hangs vertical with decent clearance.

I used to go from the fender but now I go in from under..It's easier for me.

I wear XL gloves and my hand doesn't really fit anywhere near the oil filter...the extra length of the d3 makes my life easier to screw the filter on and off.

It has been awhile since I turned wrenches. This should satisfy the itch for awhile.

All but the radiator hoses, coolant, cam plugs, and timing belt cover gaskets (and tools and shims) came from Toyolexparts.Com . Their 52 piece kit was on sale for $466.43 a while back. For OEM parts you won't find a better deal.

Installed Bilstein 5100's all around and got a solid 2.25" lift out of it using my stock coils. Also leveled out the truck. My pictures aren't the best but you can see the difference.

What I would do For any tape, glue or stickey residue left is try using an adhesive remover by 3m or an awesome product called rapid remover, you can find it on Amazon. Then I would move to the 3m wheel for anything that wasn't removed with the adhesive remover.
For the dulled finish of your paint or outlines of the letters I would try getting your hands on a buffer. I think they even make attachments for a drill, if you can't get a buffer...Using a foam pad and compound such as mcguires 105 and then polish it with something similar to mcguires 205. You can can also try this by hand but it will be hard to produce the same results. Sometimes the out lines of the letters even require wet sanding with 1500 grit before compounding.

Sick rx7 I just had the opportunity to detail 1992 montego blue one with only 20k on it. Thing was a blast to drive I'm trying to get the owner to sell it but he's not with it..

Cleaned up the old girl this weekend after having it sprayed with krown. They did a thorough job of spraying that stuff. See how it looks after a couple winters of salt on the roads. Cost 175$ once a year to get sprayed.

    Not a bad price

I just did mine myself with Waxoyl and Eastwood and that included the internal parts of the frame rails. I think I had about $80-$90 in materials.
