I love the double cab for sure. Espcially because Frank is pretty much a single cab due the the massive car stereo. That'll all change eventually. Never taken him camping so idk how id deal with the 5' bed yet haha

Id love a manual too, but for the high traffic situations, often im glad Igor is an auto. I have the resources to do a swap if i want too though at some point..but i probably won't. Although I guess if i start off roading more with the double cab i'll want one more. I hate the auto offroad. Just not fun.

And thanks! Loving how Frank is performing as of late.

    Thanks man!

Thank you! And you're most welcome! More will always come.

no waaaaaaayyyy. I hate leather seats. They would be even worse out here in St louis humidity...:puke:

Forgive my ignorance, but in lieu of spring compressors, could you back the preload collar all the way off and have enough room to remove the coils? Or are they still too long? I can't tell from the pictures and am just wondering if there is a good reason to use the spring compressors instead.

    Good question.

Actually you can't back it all the way off to just get the spring off. Its really close, but not quiet there. That would work on a 8'' coil over and 16'' spring though but not on these sadly.

With Frankenstein down for the time being and Igor needing some love to remain a good reliable DD. Im focusing more on him for the time being.

So, with that said, just dropped some serious cash on Igor.

    255/80r17 Cooper St Maxxes
gonna use my dads 17'' stock tacoma rims for now, hope to snag some SCS rims though. Want the copper Ray10s.
Wheelers super bumps front and rear
    Tundra Brakes from Callahan
T100 Master Cylinder. Jon, you ever find a PN for that? @45acp or does it matter much?

Would like some SPC Light Racing UCAs too, but think i'll wait a bit for that. Would also like some CBI Bolt on sliders, but damn i can't justify the price......yet.

Still have some LED cubes and CBI brackets to install as well as a bussman setup with Paranoid Fab brackets.

Gotta prep the truck for a fall trip as Frank won't be attending it so Igor has to step up!

Hey Jason @jberry813. Thinking about removing my ABS. I know you have done it. Any tips?

Near as I can tell I just have to rip it all out. Get a new MC(T100) and use a manual rear BPV and should be fairly straight forward. Or is it not? Besides that i know it'll be a lot bigger pain in the ass when im doing it vs talking about it :p

Removing the ABS completely, or just disabling it?

Disabling just involves pulling the fuses. Brakes then function as they should.

Removing it is fairly easy as well, but most (if not all) of the hard line will have to be replaced since they are all routed to the ABS unit. Some of them might be able to be re-routed but I don't think it's worth the time/effort. There is one brake line T you need and I can find the part number if you want.

As for the manual BPV, it's easier to access if you mount it right after the MC.
Better still, would be to mount it on the firewall and run a Tilton or similar remote adjustment dial, and you can adjust it on the fly.

Yea I did some digging. New hard lines are the way to go. Makes it fairly simple. And if I follow @BDN writeup on using the manual valve it makes it even simpler.

Thinking I may as well do it while I'm swapping front brake lines and calipers. Id like to run the t100 MC but the 1-1/16" bore one doesn't come with abs. So getting rid of it means I can use the larger MC which I think Id want with the larger front brakes.

@BossFoss you need the brake lines on your parts truck? Haha

    ...too much shit to list.
Just pull the ABS fuse. Easy peasy.

If you need the space in the engine compartment then u can get the non-abs hard lines from earlier year and swap them out and remove the abs controller. But there is no need to remove the co triller unless you need the space. It works exactly the same with abs fuse pulled and all manual lines. No difference.

Nice. Cool. I think I'll delete it. Id like the room at some point. And want to use the bigger MC.

    Thanks Jason.

    Mine is mounted like this

It's pretty easy to get too. Only thing is, it seized up on me and so took it apart and freed it. It has a stupid setup where the knob is threaded on and glued, so if it seizes you just twist the knob part off, not actually move the valve. It has now seized again.

Which new one should I go with?

Only other one I know of is the wilwood one. The front range offroad one is the jegs one.
