I have not had one that I have had to torch out yet. I always pressed them out. It takes time to find the correct size press tool though, special tools always end up in some special tool, tool box.

From where you are at, the hacksaw blade might be the best option. If you have one, you could try an air hammer.

Fridge is mounted on the flat part.

Now that I have a garage, the water tank will be going in the bed with a frontrunner tank, and I'll be probably pushing the fridge where the water tank was and building a storage drawer/compartment of some sorts that will sit in front of it.

I was thinking of moving it behind the drivers seat so I would have two rear seats, but then it would not leave much room for permanent storage.

Easy peasy... I'm sure thats been done before.

Would you be trying to also retain the use of the under seat storage? That could make it a little more involved. And are you going to want to remove the seat backs?

Have seen several owners fined for off-trail activity due to online photos, so long as the vehicle plate is clear, and it clearly shows them off-trail. Just requires someone to bring it to the attention of the authorities.

I was planning on pulling everything down to the carpet, building a box kinda thing, platform on top of that and storage within

The first few just kinda pissed me off, started getting out of the truck to take pics after about the fifth truck. Most of them Texas tags and prob up for bow season....

Here is the setup I have. It works well for my dog but there are no drawers underneath.

I think my factory bottle jack is still living somewhere under there, assuming I remembered to put it back after using it for my dakar installation

Being exposed to off-trail enthusiasts, who's behavior bordered on violent when confronted (not by me, but by a long-time CO offroader), convinced me that I don't go out on the trails unarmed. These dumbasses were trying to defend their off-trail actions, in addition to yelling at the trail run leader for trying to drive through a snow-drift which covered/crossed the trail... that's right, they were adamant that he was in the wrong for trying to stay on trail and push through the snow. It was at that moment that I realized, all it will take is for one of these irrational idiots to draw a weapon to make this head south quickly.
