Where is a good spot to go camping in George Washington Forrest? I mean real camping. Something you have to have a 4x4 to get to and no one else around to bug you or complain about noise?

Crap David I'm sorry. I forgot about your install yesterday. I could have made it up probably too, had a lot of things to do around the house but could have waited. Should have just cut the flares while on the truck. You might also want to consider hacking the exhaust pipe at the turn down past the axle if you are going to take full advantage of the HC.

2 minutes with an angle grinder is all it will take. I also chopped the exhaust hanger while I was under there, but that was mostly to make my 33" spare fit a little better.

I like both, but the quicksand looks a little more unique. Especially in this area dominated with MGM and Silver Micas :anonymous:

I was thinking the same thing... The 17 does have a few more bells and whistles power sliding rear winder which is nice with the double cabs. It's funny that the difference in payment is $23 from the 16 over to the 17 the only thing the 17 does not have is the bed cover but has the technology pack Nav and cross traffic alert and blind spot and JBL etc:...

David, I was thinking about it with the flares...you could try to reattach the bottom of them to the cut off bedside. After doing that I would tape up the fender flare so it is attached as good as possible to the cut bedside piece and then you can make the appropriate line for it. May not be a bad idea to keep the fender flare attached on there and use the cut bedside as a guide when cutting the fender? Anyway man, it was cool meeting you and it was impressive how good your skills with the grinder got in such a short time frame.

I think I am in the same boat here...the magnetic gray is very appealing to me as a color, but I ALWAYS notice the tan ones lately just because its still a unique color. If you like both colors, go tan man and wash your truck even less.

@fatfurious2 you should just take the front flares off and call it a day. You can always fill the holes from the clips with some bondo or something and then use some plastidip or something to make the illusion of flares following the same line that your original flares followed.
