Is it constant or blinking? If it's constant, the pressure in one of the tires is low. If it's blinking, you have a faulty TPMS Sensor.

Just check the pressure in all 5 tires. If the light is still on, there's a reset like below the steering wheel I believe. Press that and it'll set your sensors to that pressure.

What year did they stop putting sensors in spares? My '13 doesn't have one.

    No TPMS in my spare(2014).

I have to say I don't really care for the TPMS in my Tacoma. It's just an idiot light which doesn't tell you something is wrong until it's way wrong. I'd rather not even deal with it since I regularly check the pressure anyways.

I drive a 2016 Ford for work and in the driver information center you can see the tire pressure of each tire and it's spot on. Even on that system it won't show a warning light until the pressure is below 30 psi and I run it at 45 psi(V rated tires).

I believe around 2009. My 2007 has one... big pain in the ass. Every winter when the temp drops the tmps light comes on... the tires heat up but the spare stays cold... just enough pressure change to trigger the &#@!@* light. Toyota probably got tired of dealing with it.
