Those michelins suck as off-road tires too. So not really valid to the topic at hand

Damn, where at? Discount quoted me $40 per tire and I only had 1000 miles on them at the time. He went to the manager and said "he can get you $70 if you do the deal today"

The Falken Wildpeak AT3's are easily the most underrated all terrain on the market today.

Have them on my FJ in a 33" and I can't believe how good they are compared to the BFG's I've had. I put them on par with my last pair of Michelin's that were nearly twice as much.

They are decent tires for a stock at. Very good on the road, decent on moderate trails and dirt roads. That being said, the first time I put my truck in the cotton field, a big reed went right thru the sidewall of my front passenger tire. 10 ply Toyo at 2's reign supreme on the farms around here for sidewall protection. I don't like the ride of a 10 ply on a small truck so I decided to go with a 6 ply toyo at 2. They are holding up very good to the fields and turn rows. I got 265/75/16's.

No issue here. Been over some very jagged rocks, volcanic rock at that. Did well in sand, good when wet. Drove through what was left behind as a result of a forest fire. The trail was littered with jagged and sharp wood pieces.

I dont know how all these people are getting trade ins on tires. Only places here that would offer trade in are the little mexican tire places. And theyll only give me like $15 a tire.

They suck in mud. Or wet grass.

Great on pavement and dry trails though...

Offroad (gently/not extreme stuff) they were good for me.

Onroad they didn't last too long.

I just set up an appointment to get my tires inspected this Friday at a local Goodyear Service center. I'm going to shoot for getting a set of Duratracs and just pay the difference of $4 per tire according to Goodyear's website. The 265/70/16 Duratracs still have a 50k milage warrenty when the 265/75/16 do not.
