    Hey All,

I'm taking my time to build my ultimate adventure vehicle.

I bought my truck in March 2016 after waiting three months for her to show up at the dealership. I drove 4 hours to a dealer in North Florida who was willing to give me a good deal.

I am new to working on vehicles but I am going to try to do all the work myself. Stay tuned!

The day I took her home:

The first two mods I did was (1) removed factory pin stripes, (2) 20% tint all around.

I kept mods pretty cheap to start: decals, decals, and more decals; removed V6 emblem; center console organizer.
**I found the key for an easy install for the tailgate and glove box decals was make sure you applied enough (more the better IMO) water/soap solution.

The first significant mod I did was add a 31.5" Caliraised 3D stealth mount LED bar with APEX Fab mounting brackets. I was pretty intimidated to do this but it ended up being very easy (including the wiring!).

Around the same time I decided to load her up with some essentials:
Flashlight with magnetic mounts (good for working under the hood)
20,000lb tow strap (good for pulling Ruby and others out of the mud)
Tire Repair Kit (figured it would be a good idea)
Portable Air Compressor (its the cheap one and I don't recommend it as I burnt it out after once use. Upgraded to a Master Flow.)
Sawyer Mini Water Filter (you never know)

Haha. After margaritas I bought that and Metallica and justice for all. My 8 yr olds favorite is "nowhere fast". Surprisingly my 4 year old daughters favorite is the Metallica title track. She gets in my truck asking for "rock and rule" !

I'm debating my next move. Lift then tires? Or tires and a lift in about a year?

I'm saving for both! Hopefully by February. ome lift w/ light racing uca's, 265/70/17 ko2s, and I think the fn fx wheels. I know that's not very original. I would like icon but whenever I look at the packages I don't see a choice for the springs. I would like the beefier spring with the ome because eventually I want the sso slimline bumper w/ a winch.

My 16" Ray 10's came in last week. Hopefully I'll get these on by the end of October when I have my lift installed.

I plan on going that route as well. I don't know when I'll be doing the bumper and winch but hopefully by the end of next year that will be added.

image.jpg Sliders went on this weekend. The install was not as easy as I would have liked. There was an electrical box on the driver's side that was in the way of the middle bracket. Had to relocate the box a few inches. Hoping to test them out on my next trip.
