Do y'all want to see a little of everything or mainly city?
If you want to drive ~45 minutes I would recommend driving up to Julian and visiting the Julian Pie Co.
There's not a whole lot up in Julian but it's a unique little town with a little store that sells some pretty cool juice blends (Apple/cherry and a few others), and there's a old timey soda bar that's cool to drop into.

If you want to see some of the bay/ocean I would go up to the point loma light house, coronado island, Shelter Island, Ocean Beach Pier, and Pacific Beach.
And of course if you're near Pacific Beach you have to stop by Mr. Frostie. https://www.yelp.com/biz/mr-frostie-san-diego

You may want to check out Stone Brewing in Escondido, near the hospital. If you wanna drive to Temecula- there are lots of wineries to visit. For an early lunch- check out Georges on the Cove in La Jolla- sit up top- clear view of ocean.
El Indio has great fast Mexican food- been there since the 1940's

I just heard today that some developer bought the Welk area land and is sitting in a BMW near the Deer Springs entrance taking down plate numbers, and also that LEOs and occasionally a chopper patrol the area. SO if you go it use the back enterance if you can find one and cover your license plate numbers or remove plates completely, or go at night and use your NVGs! Damn people always trying to spoil our fun...

Too bad TW members couldn't pool together and buy the land for ourselves!

Okay so when I got the truck the ac worked great for a long time, but the conpressor squeeled loud for a minute. So when I did the motor swap I left in the new conpressor. Like a retard I put my battery to far in and it was in the way of the ac lines. I bent them down slightly and figured these line usually snap right in half if they break. Vacuumed the system down and held -30 for a hour. Awesome. Charged and and the ac was great for about a month! That was in May. Checked last month and completely empty. i replaced the shraeder valves and drier. Vacuumed it down and it held for 15 hours. Went to charge it and the freon absolutely will not go into the lines. Tried to re vacuum and the pump sounds differ t this time. Removed the valves and didn't see anything odd.

Also got uv dye everywhere during this process

I NEED my ac. I've spent so much time working on the system there's no way I'm willing to give it up.
