That's a sweet bike man. Any oil burning issues? I have a 2001 cb750. It's not a sports bike, but it's pretty fast for a beginner.

Guess it didn't help that the Speed Triple had a competition werkes shorty pipe, and the FZ has a full Akrapovic exhaust with no baffle

I had one of those! Tried to do a walking dead build, but im too impatient for carbs, and don't know how to weld. This is as far as I got. Just cut the frame, and gsxr1000 fork swap

I'm only mildly mechanically inclined myself. I mean I do all my work, but this might be over my head. Unless there's a way I am not seeing, I'm concerned I have to take the front diff off to replace the ADD actuator.
Yeah sure. It's always good to have solid recommendations. I am already considering saying fuck it and paying someone to do it.

Perhaps I'll take you up on that. I've got to verify what needs to be done. I know no one wants to take apart some strangers truck, so if it's too much I wouldn't ask nor expect anyone to be want to waste their time with me.

Funny, I usually feel the opposite. Getting anything apart is a PITA. A 12 year old salt belt truck that's mostly never had anything taken off it is nothing but a headache.

This a fun lil bike. Yea I had to re do the carbs. Shops around here charge upwards of $100 an hour for labor. I try to do maintenance myself. But it's been trouble free for 2 seasons at least. Although I've changed tires twice already cuz of nails.

I may have to take you up on that, I can pull the IFS out with the upright trans jack but can't bleed brakes alone right now. All the work will be done on a lift at work luckily

I miss it havent ride for two years. My bike looks like urs torn apart. I did however ride my brothers new harley but its a harley not much to say bout that. Sloww. I mean shit when my bike is running I can pull 92mph out of first gear. Nothing better then the feeling of pure acceleration
