Out of curiosity what would be the ideal dimensions (backspacing and offset wise ) with this wheel hypothetically if you wanted a bit more tire sticking out in your personal opinion?

3.5" bs option will stick out further than the 4.5" bs. Not any real "ideal" option because it depends on what you like. I'd say more people run the 3.5" bs option than the 4.5" bs, but both are good

Uggg, I am so undecisive when it comes this stuff... good food for thought though. Thinking about 35s makes me laugh, as sweet as it would be I only plan on doing a 3" lift. I'm thinking 35s would be a bit bulky unless maybe going with aftermarket fenders or doing some crazy trimming, not sure since I'm not to knowledgeable on the tacoma yet but eh...

It was much easier to make hastier decisions with cutting and stuff with my old jeep but since it was a 2500 dollar vehicle compared to a 25k vehicle those same decisions really weigh more heavily xD

Plenty of people run 35's on a 3" lift, but it does require quite a bit of trimming. But if you don't want to cut your truck up very much then 33's is your best option.

To give you an idea, my 4.5" bs f5's put my 285 right to the edge of my fender flare, only the tire bulge stuck out.

Hmmm, OK so I'm thinking that maybe the 3.5bs would be more ideal, I was honestly thinking from the few pictures I saw with the 4.5bs setup it seemed like they might've stuck out a hair more. That extra inch seems like it might do the trick.

Thanks you for the awesome assistant Brian!

If you want something in between 3.5" bs and 4.5" bs, consider our 17x8.5 size with 4.3" bs. Stance wise, it sits between the two 16" offerings and looks great with a 3" lift and 285s.

How it sits compared to stock wheels.

    16x8 3.5" bs - 2.5" more
    16x8 4.5" bs - 1.5" more
    17x8.5 4.3" bs - 2.2" more

I just gave my set to my brother and I'm on the hunt for some 3.5 bs ones.

If you ever consider shipping, let me know.

Just a little teaser of the upcoming 17x9 3.5" bs size. That lip is almost 3" deep.

Will they be in that color? When do you expect to release them with the 3.5 bs?

That's our matte gunmetal finish which is something we always offer. This 17x9 3.5" bs is a VERY aggressive setup so be aware of what you're getting into. For your typical lifted Tacoma, our 16x8 3.5" bs is better suited.

Did someone say Matte Gunmetal F5?

Vin, thanks for the great customer service and the fantastic wheels! Had a bunch of compliments on color and finish before I left the shop! Obligatory cell pics below.

BFG KO 265/75/16 on 16X8 Matte Gunmetal with 4.5bs. No rub at all on stock suspension but King C/Os are being installed shortly. Will update with findings.
