    Correct. The PermaSeal is a lot more difficult to break the seal compared to regular Butyl seal. When I did my retrofit, I removed all of the PermaSeal and replaced it with the Butyl. This far (knock on wood), I have not had any condensation or water get into the housings.

    Yep, I put silica packs in the bottom of the light under the trap door to be extra safe I could alway remove and replace them too.
