    Did you get the rear leaf TSB done first before going with the 1.5" AAL in the rear? Also did you put new UCAs on? And last, are you pleased with your choice? Thanks in advance.

    I had my tsb done 2 months back. I have the following that i am going to
    put on my truck on 1/15/10. 4 5100's, 1.5" tsb aal, eibach springs, light racing uca's, and the 1/4 driverside spacer for the taco lean.

    i bought the uca's but i am not going to have them installed with everything else. i hope that i won't need them, then i can sell them.
    i just bought them because they were a good deal, for insurance, in case
    at high speedes the truck seems like it wants to wonder. from all the research i have done, it seems like a 70% chance that i will not need them. it seems that the stability problems occur b/w 2.5" and 3". i just figured i would put everything on but them, drive the truck, see if it handled good. if it did i would sell the uca's, if it did not i would put them on.

    i am going to put 275/70/17 tires on it. they will not rub the current stock uca's. i am going to set the fronts at .85 to get close to 2.5" of lift. the reason i went with the eibach was that i wanted a heaver spring b/c cbi offroad is making me a plate style front bumper. there are several people that are running 275/70/17 with 1.75" of lift with no issues. i did not want to go the 285 route b/c i did not want to trim anything.

    it should not be a problem. here is a thread where a guy is running 275/70/17 on stock rims, with 1.75" of lift with no rubbing.

    I installed my Eibachs and 5100s and after I drove a few days the springs seemed to have settled. The lift at the 5100 stock settings, Eibachs only, was Left: 7/8" and Right: 1". I went ahead and increased the 5100s to .85. The total lift now is Left: 1 5/8" and Right 1 3/4". From what I have read it appears the 4x4s need the .85 setting on the 5100s to achieve more than 1" of lift. The PreRunners appear to get more lift at the stock setting.

    Suspension mods to date: Eibachs, 5100s on all four corners, NO 1/4 spacer, NO TSB.

    Measurements before lift:
    LF: 34 1/2"
    RF: 34 3/4"
    LR: 36 7/8"
    RR: 37 1/4"

    Measurements with 5100s at stock setting:
    LF: 35 3/8" -> 7/8" of lift
    RF: 35 3/4" -> 1" of lift
    LR: 36 7/8"
    RR: 37 1/4"

    Measurements with 5100s at .85:
    LF: 36 1/8" -> 7/8 + 3/4 = 1 5/8" of lift
    RF: 36 1/2" -> 1 + 3/4 = 1 3/4" of lift
    LR: 36 7/8"
    RR: 37 1/4"

    I ended up with 3/4" of forward rake both left and right. I hope this helps some that are trying to decide on what settings to use for the 5100s. I will now need to get a new alignment but I will drive it for a while to make sure it has settled and that I am satisfied.

    After Pics, the road here has a slight incline.

    Looks like my Eibach's settled a bit too. I am right about 37" from the ground to the bottom of the wheel well. I was 36 1/2" before I put on my new tires on 265/75/16's which are an inch bigger than my stockers. So I would say I got about 1" of lift with the Eibach's. :D

    No idea, only thing for sure are the numbers. I took the measurements several times, after driving, in the garage, on a flat surface. I got down at eye level and I think the numbers are exact within an 1/8th inch. My numbers do seem to be very close to 'jester156' in this thread. We are both 4x4s and both of us have the 5100s at .85. The only difference is he has a 1/4" spacer. I have read some in other threads as well and it does not appear to be unusual for the 4x4s to get less lift than the PreRunners. :confused:

    I like them, the ride is a little stiffer than stock and the truck handles alot better. I did however only get about 1" of lift but I am very happy with them, if you are anal like me make sure you get the ToyTec 1/4" spacer to fix the taco lean. :thumbsup:

    Homer j, u think that's because ur truck is heavier bein a double cab? I got an access cab so I wonder if I would get a little more lift?

    More than likely, If I was you I would just get the Billy 5100's and set them to 1.75 (with the stock springs) and call it a day man. Just my .02

    I'm tryin to get a soft ride and the preloaded springs are pretty rough! I got the 5100's already but if I could get a softer ride with just some lift springs and my stock billy's then I would go that route and sell my 5100's.
