Many thanks an appreciation must be given to @rrentrop for his amazing work with the vynl. I had an idea of what I wanted and @rrentrop brought it to life.

So does the build include more than decals?

Nothing else for now .... Suppose Build was strong word but since it's a TRD OR I'm not doing anything else for awhile. It was just vision of the taco I had when I got it and probably the most time I've ever spent beyond just driving them except my old landcruiser from a few years ago.

The show uses dark gray (MGM?) Lexus GX460s as product placement advertising. Are you trying to make the Taco look similar?

I wanted to setup the 2016 TRDOR to be just a little unique since the MGM is pretty common and I just turned 40 - it's ok to be a little bit of a kid still. Here are the best pictures I could get this morning .... I plastic dipped the grill, bumpers and all decals to get them black plus tinted windows .... @rrentrop awesome job with the vinyl and gave me two options with the matte black or metallic grey for the medallion size ones..I'm still torn on which to choose and may order more metallic grey at some point BUT without direct sun I really like the matte black and will have the TRD stickers changed to matte black soon. My senior daughter loved Dad was changing up the truck and wanted to be involved placing on decals so that's made it all the more fun. I'm pretty much done with the truck as of today beyond additional light kit from Calistop but now getta back to work so I can pay for all this !!!

I wanted to without the full on size of the door logo and have it wrapped black. Just a little spin on the show so if you walked up you would see it.

@rrentrop - Thanks for sending the larger vynl .... I think these turned out great on the back compared to the smaller ones. Plus I think this will leave plenty of room to add TRD OFF ROAD back if I decide.

I still walk out to the truck and get excited to drive it. I love this truck and have no complaints. Some days I miss my hardtop Extang Trifold so I could mount my swing out boxes from my 05 Tacoma leaving stuff in the back locked up. Here are some closer pictures and still debate should I have used the metralic if I wanted to stand out more on the vynl. You can see in the second driver door vynl, dipped center caps logo and the dipped letters.

Weird. Do you work on the show? A lot of the crew have those on their cars....

I do not ... I'm just a fan of the movies and the show who thought it would be something different and inexpensive for my truck here in MS. I'm figuring over the next six months I'll get bored and be ready to change it up again.

I debated this color in picture for all the vinyl vs the black ? -What y'all think.

Looks cool. I'll take some photos for you... a lot of the stunt guys have them on their raptors and stuff.

@McFly'sRide - please do I would love to see them. Here in MS it's gonna be a lot of ducks, deer and salt life stickers so tried to shake it up. Wife said this was my midLife crisis truck .. I said it was cheaper than Tundra to have 4WD and a Toyota like my grandfather, uncles, dad and brothers have always lasted.

I love the way the skid plate looks. They are all very subtle. If you don't mind my asking what did you pay for all the vinyl?
