    Hi,
Read most of the 37 pages here. I'd like to to regular beam and fogs. H11 for both however still puzzled about ordering two headlight kits VS 1 headlight kit and 1 fog light.

I assume it is still recommended / easier to just order 2 headlight kits and use one for the fogs?

    Thanks!

The "fog kit" does not have either the correct housing around the blub, nor the correct wiring to plug and play... See pics above.

I originally ordered two headlight H11 kits and one H11 fog light kit, and had to send the fog light kit back b/c the bulbs would not fit like the regular headlight H11 bulbs would have, and the wiring harness was completely wrong.

Hey guys. I've been in contact with Brooke over at Opt 7 and they want to spread some love over here at Tacoma World, as we all seem to like their products. I love my full LED equipped front end and I get nothing but compliments... Oh and my high beams are insane. So, If anyone wants to order anything off their site at http://www.opt-7.com/ I can get you 10% off your order, which should make it about the same or cheaper than eBay and Amazon. Remember these bulbs have a 2 year factory warranty and have been nothing but reliable for me since day one. Which means a lot to you guys I know. We all work hard and want our money well spent and we all know there are some janky ass products floating around out there. This is a great mod and good way to get rid of those lame halogens from the factory.

    PM for the code guys.

    10% off your order.
    Take care guys,
    David

I just realized that. Let me see what I can do. Might be a couple days before I hear back. In the mean time I'm still giving out this 10% off code. Good luck.

Are you also using the H11 FluxBeam LEDs for your High Beams? If so, do the fog lights turn off when you turn on your high beams? I heard mention earlier in this thread of possible issues with using the LEDs in high beams. Do you have any issues with running them in the highs?

Yes I have the H11 in all three ports, low beam, high beam and fog lights. I run fogs and lows full time. When I switch on my brights, it does shut off the fogs while my my brights are on and the fogs will come back on after my brights are off. It works exactly as it was intended from the factory. No problems. Hope that helps, good luck.

With factory highs on your fogs shut off. There's no change with the OPT7's in your highs. As the OP said, it works as intended from the factory.

I already have these in my lows but am hesitant to put them in my highs. Two questions for you, if you don't mind:

    1. Do these really do that great in the reflector housing of the highs? I ask because we know that, in the lows, the reach of the LED's in the projector housing doesn't quite reach out as far as the OEM halogens. Better color, for sure, but not the distance.
    2. How does the orange stalk of the OPT7's look in the housing during the day...with lights off? Any pics from, say, 15-20 feet away? I ask because this was one of my biggest issues is seeing that orange color reflecting in the housing area which would make it appear to be a turn signal bulb. I have the OEM bulb for my turn signal still and its already orange on that side of the light. I didn't want to add even more orange to the equation.

Thanks! I just wanted to make sure the LEDs don't change the intended behavior. I've already 3 sets for the high, low, and fogs.

their Ebay store even does 10% off the 2nd pair

My Tacoma blew out 2 DRL's when installed the retrofit source HID kit, which I eventually gave up on not wanting to chance a 3rd warranty swap on the headlight assembly, I may give these a try.

From 15-20 feet away you won't see the color.

Can you post some pics with the high beams? Trying to decide whether or not to change those out also. I do love the light output

Question for those of you who have installed the OPT7 H11 LEDs in their truck. I received my bulbs yesterday and noticed that they came with 2 polarity adapter extensions and 2 ECM capacitor extensions. My question is has anyone installed their bulbs using the capacitors or did you just use the polarity extensions?
