    No. Nor the Y pipe. I messed with my gauges a while ago. Got them mounted in the post mount. Had to make a modification... Threaded gauge holder wouldn't work.

    I think I should wrap or have the Y pipe coated. Tranny temp thing bothered me. It's hot here and I sit in traffic a lot.

    I'm assuming the gauge in the pod alone too loose as to why the clamp? Try adding some folded up cardboard or paper to the rim of the gauge before you clamp it down. I know it sounds tedious but it may just work.
    The guy I got my y-pipe from coated it with a high temp coating......I can say it does work. If you think you need it, I'd do it.

    How much vacuum are you getting at idle?
    I still hear a odd squeal type sound when really getting into the boost. Belt slip sounds like the cause but I have a brand new tensioner and belt...

    Does this belt look like shot already? It's nearly new. Trying to find the source of my missing 3 psi of boost. I'm thinking belt slip but the tensioner and belt only have a couple thousand miles @Torspd ? Anyone have ideas lolimage.jpg

    Kind of hard to tell about the belt, but it looks good as far as I can tell. I will say this. There is a little known fact about belt slippage caused by a lack of strong enough tension. A guy on Custom Tacos did a test and found higher psi. Basically, he flipped his tensioner around. It added a considerable amount of tension, over the current setup. He picked up more than just a few psi, with that mod alone. He posted a video as well.

    You should give it a try. I might be able to find the video or link...

    Texas Ace? I think he used the old school non-dynamic tensioner and drilled a new hole in it to get more belt overlap (over 50% vs under 50%)

    Thats what I remember seeing. My boost does not taper off or drop psi in high boost so idk if it's belt slip or not
