Definitely, been looking forward to some wheeling, but might be a bit tentative being a 2 month old truck w/out armor

Took my kayak down to the hill country for the weekend and had a blast

I dont think I'll be going back out there till I get rocksliders at least. I bent both of my predator steps. Luckily it was slight and im pretty sure I can bend them back out. I also pinstriped the passenger side although it looks like just clearcoat damage that will buff out. We'll see tonight.

The thought carnage has taken me down this chain reaction of:
    • If i damage my rocker panel, the repair cost would have covered a set of sliders
    • If I'm willing to spend $700 on sliders, might as well buy that tube bender I've been wanting
    • Now I'm months away from wheeling w/o worry

Im just going to have a local guy fabricate me some. It'll minimize the cost. I have too many projects currently to start learning to weld and buying a tubing bender.

    Anyone seen my wallet?
Its therapeutic for me. I love going at sunset, with a sandwich, a drink, a cigar and posting up to watch the sun go down.

Yeah, California always seems to get all the good stuff. And by good stuff, I mean fabricators.

I tapped the ground wire into the dome light ground. Its located in the cab, if you look at the fuse panel... there is a wire harness that plugs into the bottom left corner, in that wire harness there is a solid blue wire that is the ground for the dome light.

I used a wire tap, found the wire and i was in business!
