    393ci= 351windsor that is stroked to 3.850" and 302 pistons...393 is the most common ford stroker motor...I do believe a 383 is a stroked chevy 350...

    My Mom's late husband had a 1983 f-250 longbed camper outfitted (no camper) with the 17" heavyduty rims and the 460ci. MAN I loved driving that beast! Just tap the pedal and it rolled like a train:D

    Beautiful truck. What part of Oregon are you from. I also have a 78 F-250 but mine isn't nearly as nice. Mine is being built to play in the mud. So far I've swapped the Dana 44 front for a Dana 60 and springs out of a 91 1-ton. Still trying to save money to build the '72 Dove C 460 I have for it.
