Better to ask what I have not done.
Most with have a overload switch that will trip if it gets to hot. 100% Duty cycle does have a time limit on it. For instance 100% means you can run it for 60 minutes strait before it has to cool

    50% means 30 minutes running 30 cooling

    .....

Viair has a chart for this.

    Plethora of "useless" shit
Thanks for the detail. I've been debating on the arb twin or co2 to replace my MF-1050 that takes a while to air back up.

Theres also the Puma.. its what I have. Its large (guessing the compressor itself is similar in size to Viair), but it is possible to mount it under the hood of 2nd gen if you move a stupid emissions box thing. Not sure about the 2.5gen. And it comes with a tank.

You can split them up and put the compressor under the hood...

Mine is side by side in the bed, for now.

The 20lbs co2 tank with a fixed psi can run you around 160$ then each fill you could say 25$. (Can be had for more or less ) i get about 5-6 inflates per tank so if you go wheeling for a season say 20 times and add an extra refill for using air tools or what not your around 125$ a season for air so you could run co2 for 2-3 years before you paid for an on board compressor that only had the initial cost Of the unit.

Filter for the air coming in. Most supply it with the compressor.
