Any body tell me how hard it is to take the current hubs off my trailer and replace with new? The current ones are 5x4.5 and on E-Trailer I found the 6x5.5 that we have....

Is it just a solid straight axle? If it is, it is relativly easy as long as the new hubs are the same spindle size, very important.

Hahaha thanks bud, you're right!! Gotta take my time.

My suggestion would be to buy a whole new axle so you save yourself the headache. Does your current axle have brakes? Or is it just a rolling axle? I'll give you the link where to buy a new axle and then you can just sell your current one and make your money back instead of dickin with swapping hubs and making sure everything lines up

CrAzY busy. Moved into our first shop yesterday. 30x50 of awesomeness. About to buy a JD2 Model 54 tube bender so we can start making Prerunner style tube bumpers, racks and maybe an expo trailer or two. :)

    You?

It doesn't have brakes but the whole trailer came as a kit with all pre-drilled holes and all the bolts and everything.... I didn't pay this much lol but I have this:

Dude that's frickin awesome!! Congrats!! Wish I could have some space like that! Haha I like the expo trailer part! That'll be awesome dude. Been really good just busy with my full time job!! And just trying to spend a lot of time with my wife and kid, just got back from a camping trip yesterday. Was a ton of fun!

Well you could either call up the company and ask what they suggest or you could purchase this axle since your trailer comes with a torsion axle.

    https://www.southwestwheel.com/p-2312-3500-lb-flexiride-torsion-axle.aspx

You'd have to do a little more research to make sure the width of the axle is correct.

Awesome. I'm busy with this and wife is now back to work nights and weekends so I have baby duty. Once he is asleep, I'm at the computer doing paperwork or design work until midnight. Then back up at 6 to do it all over again. I need to make time to camp in the worst way.

I concur. I'm feeling it already. 18 hours daily of work or being a Dad is brutal. And when he naps is when yard work or house cleaning gets done. He took a four hour nap the other day, I should've relaxed. Instead I power washed the house, patios and driveway...

Yeah but ground clearance and might be able to stuff 35's in there lol

The trailer already has "21" in of ground clearance but once hooked to my truck the hitch is too high so I just got a drop hitch lol

True. You can do 35's with a solid axle and 4" lift YJ springs I'm pretty sure. But you still have the shaft in the center for a hang up point.

The originals are Torsion axle and mount straight to the frame which is why those I posted make the most sense...
