Prerunner Slotted & Cross Drilled rotors 2005-2009

I have a set of aftermarket slotted & cross drilled rotors for sale. Brand new, still in the box. Fits the 2005 & up Prerunner 6 lug & the 4x4. Rotors are 12.5" diameter. Looking for $80. I can ship it USPS Priority flat rate medium box for $11 each so for both it's $22. It would come in 2 boxes. If there's a cheaper way to ship it thats fine too. Form of payment would be paypal or cash for local buyer. Loacted in Irvine CA.

 

why does it say prerunner? cant it fit a 05-09 trd offroad 4x4 tacoma?

 

Whats the benefits of these rather then our OEMS? Can I replace my stock ones and what would be the best brake pads to use?

 

It will fit all the 6 lug tacoma's. As far as the pads there are pros & cons when you use ceramic vs semi metallic. Its a personal choice. I have a set of ceramic pads that are new for $25.

what brand are these? do you have part numbers. Im interested just want to double check make sure they fit.

I had a big brake kit upgrade on my evo and it made a huge difference. I know these are the same size just cross/drilled but they will make a difference im just worried bout offroading and have a rock or something get caught in one of the slots or drilled holes and ruin my brakes.

 

There's alot we can do to improve our breaking system & one can say every little mode would make a difference. As to how much & can it be felt is a whole other issue. I'll give you an example of mine.
I upgraded the brakes on my 97 BMW Me that was supercharged pushing more the 400 horsepower. I did the brembo big brake kit upgrade on it & can say i wasnt that impressed. What I should have done was just change the pads, rotors, steel brake lines & add synthetic brake fluid. The brakes looked sweet but the cost was steep. I'm not pushing these. If someone wants them fine. If not to each his own.

I'm just offering a set of rotors that I felt was a reasonable deal. I was paying $70 per rotor for the dealership & that was suppose to be 10% over cost. My friends a mechanic there. I run these rotors and just wanted to pass it on, thats all. It is an OE replacement that has been sent out to a machine shop that slots & drills the rotors out.

 

You are offering a good deal. Keep it up, someone will be along to clean up the thread.

i just install them rotors this past weekend. I feel the differents, it feels great, no more vibration on the steering wheel when im stoping. I put new front brake pads. It was all worth it. thanks mark.

 

That's great but FYI, any new rotors will stop the vibrating steering wheel compared to your warped ones. The c/s did nothing to stop the vibrating. Any new thicker unwarped ones with new pads will also make the truck stop better too. Glad the sale went well & you're happy with your purchase!
