    For those with a 2016 taco and wanting a canopy rack. Here is the information I was just emailed by front runner:

    The height of the mounting feet in the KRCA005T is 50mm and the height of the KRCAT05T is 60mm.

    You’ll want the tall kit to make the racks both level. If your vehicle is a 2016, you may want to order the kit with 70mm feet. The new 2016 Tacoma rack is taller then previous years.

    Also I'm interested in getting a rack for a shell I haven't ordered yet. I'm leaning towards an ARE CX. Do I need to know the exact model shell for the correct rack or are all ARE shells the same as far as mounting points?

    It is my understand that mounting points no matter if it is LEER, ARE, or SNUG TOP, the width the companies put the rails on top is the same. Match the width of the cab rack with the topper rack, then you should be good too go. Has you will see when you get your right, you slide the bolts in that connect the rack to the mounts. You can slide it more to one side than the other. If doing my research right this is the one you need: KRCA005T. Call FrontRunner to verify though.
