    Probably a good idea because concrete is somewhat flame retardant.

    The room may be dark for our eyes but if you put a camera on a tripod and kept the shutter open for 5 plus minutes it would record color. To my understanding the reason we don't see color in a dark room is because our black and white color receptors, or whatever they are called, are more sensitive then our color ones.
