Trailworx is in Midlothian and does a small amount of Tacoma stuff, mostly FJ though. US Off-road is in Granbury. Shrockworks is in Houston. Southern Style Off-road is not too far away in Baton Rouge.

This is probably a dumb question, but how'd you wire into the cab?

Red dirt off-road is a local retailer that is a rep for most brands, @tgormtx is the owner and can help you find what you need.

Run wire through the firewall grommet where all the wires are by the steering shaft. Not sure if this answers your question

I think it might. It at least steers my into a direction. I can start with that and do some research while my kit gets here. Hopefully it's not too difficult, since I have absolutely no background with electrical.

Some I know and have wheeled with, some I've just met at events, but I've seen their products and can recommend them. Most of the Tacoma vendors are pretty good, in the 4 years and $$$$$ I've spent fixing up my truck there's only a few shops I wouldn't recommend to others.

Pretty easy relay has 4 connectors
Mount relay in the engine bay
Run a wire from batt to relay
The pos wire from light to relay making sure to ground the light
    Ground wire to relay
    Relay wire to switch
He's a pic to help do it once and you'll get it and yes the numbers need to match up with the correct wires or it will not work.
Get wire and don't even route it, just do a test So if it's wrong you don't have to chase wire.

It's a good time, offers something for every level and makes it easy to push your comfort zone without actually threatening your truck. But sliders are important anytime you go offroad.

    Couple questions....

    What do the numbers mean?

I eventually will have a light bar and maybe some other aux lighting. Do I use this same relay to wire those lights to or is this specifically for the LEDs Im going to wire soon?

The part that says switch... is that a switch mounted inside the cab?

Where does relay #87 go to?

Yikes, sorry! This is a learning process for me for sure.

The numbers correspond to what wires go where like #87 goes to the red wire to the lights. How they came up with those numbers originally I don't have a clue but all the relays are the same. Use a different relay for the light bar. The switch goes inside the cab unless your using the under hood kit that is spring loaded in which case that is texhnically your switch. Where in Dallas are you?

Ahhhh ok gotcha. Yeah I've been reading a lot this past hour and I think I want to get a Blue Sea fuse block. Seems like a good investment if I plan on doing multiple lights, ya?

And I live in Rockwall County. Technically, Royse City.

Yeah, that's what I want to do.

Ok, so if I get the blue sea, what all do I need to buy to properly wire it up? I just want to have it prewired so I can have it ready for when I start investing in lighting.

And I actually live off 276. I see East Tawakoni on your profile. I'm assuming that's where you're at?
