    Quite the opposite today...

Some dipshit in a black 1st Gen cut me off today on the freeway and almost caused a 4 car accident. I gave him finger, the guy next to me pulled up next to him and started screaming at him. I felt embarrassed he was a part of the "family".

But yea, other times a Tacoma nod has been passed. Nuff said

I don't get waves, I get looks and a once in a while "I like your Taco," which is just odd coming from one dude across a lane of traffic to another......

I waved when I first bought my truck and received a lot of "WTF are you waving at?" looks. Now I rarely wave, if at all and only if I receive one first.

I do however get a lot of complements from guys in Chevy Colorado's at stop lights. Which is odd, but if they were like me, they were probably shopping around and probably considered a Tacoma before buying their Colorado.

Similar here. No waves with the Taco.
    A couple with the '84
    Tons with the '69.

I get sick of waving at other bikes, way to many Tacomas on the road to wave at here in Florida.

It's been discussed before. It's a local custom. Waving or nodding at random people in San Diego would be regarded as ackward behavior or on drugs, this is in the urban city.

In the backcounty on a trail, everybody waves at everybody.

In LA it'd probably get you shot.
Around here people just think you must live in the area and they wave back.

I sometimes drive through LA waving at random people for trolling excitement. It's fun to mess with people. Most people are afraid to look at the person waving for fear of intimidation. lol

Do you do the casual 'hand lift' wave, or the frantic 'toddler seeing someone they know' wave?
