    That ($42k) was the cost of the v8 sport runner we got new. Bought it with 5000 miles on it for $32k.

    I think it was more of the EPA with emissions bs and the point system. To produce the Tundra and Sequoia with the V8's something had to give because they ran out of them (points) with the Prius hybrid.
