Is TRS out of stock of the D2S LHD projectors? they arent showing up on the website. Or are we transitioning from the 3.0s to the 4.0s?

Fellas! Sorry for the late responses, we've been swamped with calls, emails, and getting ready for the new site launch today! Yes you guys are correct, we're completely out of 3.0s, why? because 4.0s are coming in very soon!!!!!!!!

 

The new website is being loaded as we speak. Be patient, and it will be worth the wait here in the next few hours. It will show the 4.0 right there on it as well, with expected ship date of this Friday the 16th!

 

Just checked out the new site, as I need to pick up some more retrorubber. Looks great! A few questions for people (@TRSJimmy):

When I completed my retrofit a few months ago, I thought I had them aimed properly, but I didn't and now the cutoffs are super uneven and I just can't adjust them properly. I think my adjustment clip is broken and am trying to find new ones (so I don't have to purchase another entire set of headlights). Anyone have any leads on where to get those? It's the little plastic pieces that the adjuster screws thread into. I found these but I am not sure if they'd work for the 2nd Gen headlights.

Next, how are people mounting their shrouds to the projector? I thought it would simply stay on without extra assistance, but after one good wheeling trip they have been sitting inside my headlight popped off for a couple months now.

Finally am gonna have time to pull everything off and reopen them next weekend to figure out what needs to be done to fix them!

 

Use some JB weld to mount the shroud to the projector.

 

Also, anyone know if the mounting brackets for the demon eyes are the same for the D2S 3.0 as they are for the 4.0?

Looking to upgrade to the 4.0 D2S, wanted to go with some new shrouds and rbg halos. When are the 110mm RGB halos going to be in Stock? Unless I can maybe squeeze some 120mm in apollo 2.0?

 

Do the D2S 4.0 use the same harness as the 3.0?

 

I hope so. Also I hope my demon eyes will work

 

Something tells me they will because if they didn't then they'd have to revamp a lot of items, the threads over on HIDplanet stay updated with information.

I honestly don't remember about the adjustment screws, but I can check Monday! Sorry for being so late. I can finally get on TW now. Been going through A lot lately. Feels good to be back.

Always mount shrouds with JB weld. Never rely on the clips. Don't go too crazy and let it drip onto your projectors! Ask me how I know

It should be the same, nothing change to the mounting point but I can ask on monday!
