I didnt get a photo when it was stuck. They went up on a narrow path and slide off into a barbed wire fence due to the sandy conditions. The photos were after they were already out (i didnt think about taking any until i was done haha)

Nice truck but am going to stick to my TRDOR. I just don't see paying the extra price for it. Most folks who buy one probably if the truth was known including myself could do what they needed in an sr5.

I didn't notice a big price difference when comparing to a loaded up TRDOR. If you are going baseline then yeah... but otherwise i dont see it as a big markup compared to the TRDOR and you get leather seats (i enjoy) lots of cosmetic upgrades and a slightly more unique vehicle out of the box.

You don't lose drivetrain warranty by adding aftermarket suspension. Toyota would have to prove the suspension led to a drivetrain issue.

But I get what your saying about having an all inclusive warranty on the full truck rather than going aftermarket.

On that note, you can buy a lot of $1200 shocks for the additional mark up of a factory outfitted truck.

5 year warranty on the suspension?

Don't see anybody replacing aftermarket coilovers 10x in 5 years. That cost is for the ownership not the parts.

I stayed current, so no need.

The amount of "I just got my Tacoma and already pulled out 4 guys" posts here are staggering and doesn't speak much to the intelligence of the human race outside of Tacoma owners.

Some truth to all of them, maybe.. but people like to brag a little. You know what I mean? :)

I was just excited that the truck did well. Not sure why all the hate from you and the convenient response to the original question and not my repose about the photo.

Everyone else seems cool on here, you just seem to have some issue with someone enjoying their experiences i guess

Turn your sensitivity meter down a little, Shelly.

lol ok will do. You still didn't address any of the points I made about your comments. All you say now is that I am too sensitive. I just dont enjoy people on the internet who try and talk poorly about others for no reason and it came across to me as if you were and are doing that.

To each his own though. I appreciate the interesting questions and nice comments from the rest of the community.

That, and I'd bet if someone blew out a shock, the dealer wouldn't be so thrilled to just up and replace it if they suspected abuse anyway.

OP, I'm jealous! Mine was supposed to come this past Tuesday but is at the port getting the Predator step tubes put on. I hope to have it early next week. I can't wait! I also managed to get the cement color and an AT.
