Sounds pretty good, particularly if you actually want those steps or can sell them for a reasonable amount.

Also congrats on picking the best color. :D

Thanks! The steps will come off, I really don't like them.

Hey guys, trying to get a price on a 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD ORDC, MT6, in black. Wondering if paying $1000 over MSRP would be good, for an out the door price in Utah; which is what I would feel would be fair. MSRP I believe is around 37,000 for the black ORDC, so would be willing to pay $38,000 OTD. Also wondering if there is any way to get leather seats and the JBL added to this package or is it impossible with the MT6? Wanted the pro because it has leather seats, but it does not come in black. Was quoted 46,000 to 47,000 out the door for the pro (thats a knee slapper  for a mid sized v6 truck). Not a fan of the hood scoop either on the 3rd gen, otherwise I would look at the TRD Sport model. Let me know if I am crazy or if I can do better. Tax is around 6%.

I'm looking at $1000 over msrp out the door with taxes and tags. Dealer just outside of Salt Lake. Confirming all the numbers tomorrow afternoon but it's looking good thus far. Message me and I'll give you the contact info of my sales guy so you can give him a call. This is my first time working with him but he's treated me right so far

Sweet, ya a dealer in Salt Lake said it would be 8-12 weeks for the MT6 configuration I want, which I have no problem waiting for.

It is my understanding that if you buy the $650 tonneau option that is listed in the options, this is the Toyota branded tonneau for the long bed. It is identical to the one that comes on the limited...but for the 6 foot bed. These are available and being produced but are installed at the factory.

With SET, we have a $850 "Tonneau and LED Bed Light" option...this is not the Toyota branded cover. It is essentially identical to the Toyota cover but it does not say "Toyota" on the back. This is a port installed option.

What I was being told was the long-bed tonneau is aftermarket and is not the Toyota. The one I saw at a dealer was definitely different.

Yes on the SET combo cover/lights option, I was told the same. It's listed on the paperwork as "BT1000 Tri-Fold Hard Tonneau Cover with LED Lights" and is MSRP $849 invoice $680.90

It's about $100 more in invoice to order the OEM tonneau (TCAT) and bed lights (BU1000) options individually. $650 MSRP / $579 invoice for the tonneau and MSRP $269 / invoice $185.90 for the Cargo Bed LED lights.

It'd be interesting to see the actual differences between them. I could also interpret the combo option as having LED lights built into the tonneau itself like this one: https://www.realtruck.com/rugged-hard-fold-tonneau-cover/

Yeah, I ordered a longbed with the factory Tonneau option and the bed lights option so I guess I will have to wait and see.

Bought almost the exact same car for almost the exact same price. Mine had all of the above as well as the mudguards. 39750 MSRP, got them to knock off 2 grand to 37750 (plus taxes and licensing).

Try #2 for the order and purchase of a 2017! Here we go! Went into yet another dealership this past Saturday with some promising pricing from correspondence with the online sales staff, left with papers signed and pretty happy with what I got. Now I just have to wait again for the truck to come in.

2017 TRD OR DCSB MT w/ Tow Package
    $34,655.00
Accessories (which I didn't ask for but were on a vehicle already in the pipeline...)
    -All-Weather Floor Liners
    +Door Sill Protectors $209
    -Alloy Wheel Locks $80
    -Bed Mat $120
    -Exhaust Tip $90
    -Mudguards $129

    MSRP Total $35,293.00

Dealership agreed to split the price of accessories, so I'm only paying $314

    -Doc & Misc Fees $524
    Savings -$2038
    Rebate -$750
    Accessory Disc. -$314
    No tax (NH F yeah!)

    OTD $32,715.00

Total savings at the end of the day OTD is $2,578.00. Glad I gave this all another go as the last order process went up in flames. After I get the truck and the deal is done to my liking (still need to lock in financing) I'll happily refer anyone interested to my salesperson. So far the experience has been hassle free as far as car buying goes.

Looks like a good deal! one question as I'm in the process of getting one, how did you get that rebate? I thought they were only good on 2016 trucks?

In northern California- black trd or 4x4 with tow pack and p&t. $35,051. So otd roughly 38,800. I think it's fair given the state and the availability and the amount of freaking markup in the area

    2017 TRD OR DCSB 4x4 AT $34705
Premium & Tech with JBL $3035
    Towing package $650
    Carpet Floor mats $205
    Destination charge $940

    Total MSRP $39,535

Offered at $37,778 +TTL, so $1757 off MSRP. That was his first offer, haven't tried to haggle yet. Not bad, but still about $1200 over what I think is invoice. If he comes down to $37,200 I think it would be a good deal.

Premium and Tech with JBL or without? Either way seems like a great (almost too god to be true) deal on a 2017. Does $35,051 include the destination charge?

Helluva deal if it is automatic, still a good deal if manual. Always nice to have a straight shooter. I hate the floor dudes.
