Anyone know how, or where, to find the part # for the blank panel that takes the place of the 4x4 switch in the 4x4 trucks? I know I can go to the dealer, but my local dealer is a PIA. They always want a vin to look up parts. I don't have a prerunner. Thus, I do not have a prerunner vin.

I'm putting in a twin stick FJ case and want to put my ADD momentary in that spot.

    Thank you

I want to install the momentary rocker switch that I'll need to control the ADD after putting the manual FJ T-case in

I wasn't even looking for the correct piece. I posted this thread without actually going out to look at my truck. This is what my 13' dash looks like. I'll need that whole panel that goes around the vent.

Also, I called the dealership. Not only do they "need" a VIN to look this up. The guy also had no idea what a Prerunner was...

Hell, if I can find the Prerunner panel, you can HAVE the knob. I'm not having much luck finding one though...

There is no plug for the 4wd switch on the 12-15, the prerunners just don't have a hole there at all. I do know of a part number for a replacement 12-15 surround for a prerunner in black if you'd like? Not sure of the part number for the silver one though.

That would be great! I don't care what color it is. That's what I need. Just a smoothe.

Okay they are a bit pricey but the black surround without a 4wd switch hole is 55405-04100. Accidentally ordered that when I meant to get the black surround with a hole notch. :bananadead: I know there is also a version that is half the cost and doesn't come with the vents (you swap out your existing vents into the new trim piece) but I don't know what the part number is for that.

That's awesome. Thank you. I MIGHT just put the switch here if I can be sure there's room for it behind the panel. Probably easier than changing the surround. Definitely less expensive.
