So what are my options as far as an upgraded air intake system? Im looking for something thats gonna give me a little power increase, and some sound. I just want to know the different choices i have, and best placed to find them.

Also anyone that has aftermarket air intake, How do you like it? And how does it affect your truck? thanks!

TRD or URD. My K&N doesn't give any power gains, it is just loud.

If you go offroading I probably wouldn't go with URD because it is behind the grill.

does the trd one sit about where the stock one is? Any different options within the Trd brand? Or is it just "Trd" air intake?

^ you should test it. ;) and to the op I say either AFE,TRD,URD. I have heard that others arent as good. But its just for throttle responce and sound not really power, and your throttle responce will be alot better. I know from experience with my AFE that im still trying to figure out were to get a dry filter for it that fits.

TRD cai with (AFE dry flow filter), de-flapped, tint, weathertech floor liners, coverking neoprene seat covers, rear TSB, Billy 5100's set at 1.75'', Pro Comp 7005's 17x8 BS4.5, any time fogs, tailgate theft mod, led lights in the int., slim cubby HID headlights and fogs, TRD skid plate, bed mat
i put on a TRD, then put on an AFE dry flow filter instead of the TRD one that comes with it. i didnt notice and gains with the TRD plate on the top of the air box so i took it off. it sound better and actually feels like it made a little bit of a diff.
