Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Johnson valley is actually a lot more rock than Anza I believe. FIgure: King of the Hammers is in Johnson Valley.

I'm honestly a toss up. Pick one

I was the same way. Picked Anza because I'll be at the hammers event next year. Plus I live close ish to the hammers so i can make it there for a day trip anytime.

I am also planning on going Friday. Learned from Pismo that one extra night would have really made it better. I'll change it to the 21st later unless Chris does it. I set all this up on his computer earlier and I know he's pretty busy right now.

I'm pretty booked in November. I doubt most people will go on Halloween weekend so that leaves the next best dates at 10/14-10/16. Let me get some more feedback from people and see what we can do.
 I'll get ya on there just give me a day or two.

Ready to race brahtato? o_O

Nice! I felt for you guys that rolled in Saturday and the crew that rolled in late Friday night. Especially with traffic being a biatch for your commute out. Missed some good runs that us earlier arrivals ran. Long trips is a 3 day minimum in my book.

Voted AB. @ODNAREM Ron is correct, there are just TONS of trails out there that we didn't even come close to touching! Granted, I don't know SHI- about Johnson Valley, BUT, I do know WHAT we MISSED in AB and it was quite a bit that we didn't hit!!! :boom::violent::annoyed::facepalm::frusty::rant:
Btw, I really LOVED Holmes Camp Ground and vote for that to be the spot to be in!!! Just say'n from experience:notsure: and thanks to @TXpro4X4 Bryan for pointing out that camping spot last year!!!:fistbump::cheers:

Here are some of my pics!!!
@sladesdaddy1022 John, bro, if you CAN avoid selling your rig, PLEASE DON'T sell it!!! :(:fistbump:

Holmes Camp Ground. If you were to look directly ahead, from my trucks perspective, about 100yds away is the "other side" of the camp ground that looks just like what you see here!!! The shi--ers are in the middle and spread out AND are very well kept!!!
    AmericanFlag.jpg RonAndMe_baseCamp.jpg

On our way to the Pumpkin Patch and we had to stop because a Razr flipped and ejected a passenger from my understanding. You could clearly see a body on the ground with med techs at his/her side. I was about to take a picture and it just didn't feel right??? We were stopped for about 30min or so and it was BAKING pretty good!!!
    TrailStop1.jpg

    TrailStop2.jpg

I did, however, snap this photo of the helicopter landing to pick up the person that was ejected from the Razr!!!
    Rescue_Landing.jpg

Just my humble $0.02 on the matter :notsure:

Hey all, are ya'll pretty set on Anza? Never been out there and would like to check out out. Had a great time at another meet up at Rowher Flats.

A question: would Anza be 2WD friendly for the most part? My buddy has a Gen 1 TRD OR and has a lift and oversized tires...but hasn't taken it off road yet and is hesitant that he might sink into the sand. Any thoughts?

    Much obliged.
