Okay, which one of you weirdos gave me a hickey on the inner side of my bicep when I wasn't paying attention?

 

I got a nice little burn from rick's rear shock when grinding it

 

Brian gave himself a bloody nose from a falling spacer Saturday while installing his center support spacers.

Who would have thought that little piece of metal would cause that....

On a side note. The alignment eliminated that delightful growl that started on the way home. Now all I got is the slight hum of the tires.... Until those mice get up to speed and quick squeaking.

 

Yeah... I dropped it off before work and picked it up after. Doesn't feel like I'm steering with pulleys and string.

 

Nice glad things turned out good and the noise went away

 

I don't think I could have been in better hands with the crew that was willing to spend some time and lend a hand.

So I changed Natty's oil today...and was forced to conclude, I hate working on non-lifted trucks. It was a way bigger ordeal than it is on the OGT. I also had to go get a new battery when I noticed the positive terminal was badly caked up with corrosion. Now she has a load of fresh oil, a decent filter, and a new battery. She should be happy.

The OGT will probably get jealous and crap some more parts parked under the carport.

 

@Sholden223 you'll be the first recipient of the newly designed sliders. I finally got the dimensions figured out for a one piece outer rail. It's sleeker, looks better in my opinion, and will require less welding with the same amount of bending.

 

TBH, I kinda like the old version better. It looked stouter.

The new version looks a bit like an AP slider.

I still have some of the old kickouts in the parts room if someone ever wanted the old style. But honestly, these were a ton easier to bend up and get fit correctly.

 

What can I say? I prefer the Allenfab original to the AP look-a-likes. But whatever, easier to build is always a plus.

 

Do I dare ask if you are back in business for possible orders?

 

Not quite yet. I promised these sliders many months ago and I've gotta knock em out before the October citrus meet.

I've got a pretty big smoker/grill trailer build I've got to get done before the winter months and I've got to focus some on Tim's SAS and at the very least make it a roller by the end of the year. I will be building them again though, it'll just be a few more months

 

Good deal, figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

 

Haha, maybe by the time you get some of the backlog cleared away, I'll be ready to do my bumpers.
