Buckshots just got a new redesign and they kinda look like open countries, im running bighorns and like them pretty well (maxxis makes both those m/ts) but since u wanna go a/ts i would say that cooper st maxx or duratracs i guess seem to be the most popular

Yeah i have heard duratracs have thin sidewalls, but i also would think if ur gonna be off roading seriously enough to damage sidewalls, ats wouldnt be your first choice.
I really looked into the st maxx before i got my bighorns but these were cheaper, had better traction off road, And the st maxx only comes in e rating and mine are d so i save like 7 lbs a tire or something like that.

I personally have Cooper tires and they are great. Can't say anything about any of the other ones though.

I have probably 40k on my duratracs. No problems so far.

Reason I need ats is I got like a 75 mile a day drive to work and I don't want to spend a lot of money on mts and them get wore out from driving so much on pavement cuz I don't get the opportunity to go riding a whole lot since I work so much right now but I will be going and I want something that's great traction in mud dirt and road

I run cooper discovers AT3 load range E. 90%+ of my driving is city with 420-450lbs. in the bed. For what off roading I do, they give me the traction I need. I don't rock crawl or go through a lot of mud. Depending on the time of the year, I'll replace them with 53,000- 57,000 miles on them.

Just saying I love my BFG KO2's. They are a little pricey, and the 285/70/17 Load Range E is heavy, but they have worn great and ride well in my opinion. If I can get a better price on them next time I will get them again. I'm at 16k miles on them I think, and hardly have they worn at all.
