@Sandman614 what bolt do I need for my leafs? I'll run by lowes later today (one up the street from my house). Are you free tomorrow a.m. for mini mod day?

 

I am. I use a 3/8" Socket cap bolt like this. You just need to measure all of your leafs to determine how long you need it. It needs to be longer so we can compress the leafs with it.

yeah ... I have a chop saw and a cutoff wheel for my grinder. we can get it cut straight

 

keep adding red wine to it...it'll get better

 

I got the chop saw from Amazon for $99 +tax. It'll be nice to have a small project saw around. Just off the top of my head, unistrut, awning poles, and wood. It'll see very little use and all of it will be light use.

Also just got "my anniversary gift" today, Dewalt 20v Max string trimmer. Now to start buying more tools to use the batteries with! "her anniversary gift" will be dining chairs.

Surf city was nice, even have a pub named after me! @voz is working on getting some strut. I'm still trying to work out measurements and exact build layout.

 

Thought that pub was the SandPiper Growing up, we had a place there at Blackbeard's Treasure Campground just across the swinging bridge. We're going back there because they are starting construction of a replacement bridge in October and this will be the last year to see the bridge without construction going on. It's a 5yr project but it will be a mess. When I was a kid, the bridge operator was stationed in the top middle of the structure. I went up there many times. Very fond memories.
